Obituary: Katherine Anne Gulden, 88, Formerly Of Rye

The former Westchester County resident was living in Florida at the time of her death.

Katherine Anne Gulden, née Keogh, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, formerly of Rye, died peacefully on Nov. 30 at the age of 88. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Jennifer Wentzel Gulden of New Canaan, Connecticut, and granddaughters Whitney Gaynor Gulden of Brooklyn and Abigail Perry Gulden of Medford, Massachusetts. Katherine Anne was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Katherine (Devlin), beloved son Charles F. Gulden, former husband Charles Gulden, sister Mary Elizabeth Kelly and brother Thomas F. Keogh.

Katherine Anne graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Newton College of the Sacred Heart now Boston College, Newton, Massachusetts. As a resident of Rye, Katherine Anne was an active volunteer at The TWIG of Westchester, Church of the Resurrection of Rye and was a member of the Apawamis Club and Shenorock Shore Club.

In past years, Katherine Anne was an active member and volunteer of Christ Episcopal Church of Ponte Vedra, an avid tennis player and captain of one of the Beaches League teams as well as a member of the Sawgrass Country Club. The Gulden family would like to thank the exceptional staff of the Vicar’s Landing Health Center for their compassion and kindness.
