RYE, NY — Don't expect to take a ride on the Playland carousel before the season ends this year. Necessary repairs due to a fire on the roof of the ride Sunday will take some time to be made. Playland's owner, Westchester County, is assessing the damage but said <a href="http://www.lohud.com/story/news/local/westchester/2017/07/11/fire-repairs-likely-keep-playland-carousel-closed-season/468992001/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">repairs</a> likely can be made, the Journal News said. The carved horses of the carousel were not damaged by the fire.
