Port Chester Home Burglaries Follow Series In Rye

Port Chester police reported two home burglaries in the village Tuesday, and warned residents that the incidents were not isolated.

The burglaries follow a month after Rye City police warned their residents about a rash of residential burglaries.

Rye City police reminded residents to secure their homes and property. The alert issued at the end of August said the suspects were possibly targeting unoccupied homes with mail and packages left out at the front door.
