Rye Losing Pupil Personnel Services Director To Pelham
She previously served as the Rye assistant director of pupil personnel services.
RYE, NY — The Rye schools director of pupil personnel services will be going to the Pelham school district. Julia S. Chung has been appointed the Rye district's assistant superintendent for pupil personnel services effective March 4.
Chung previously served as the Rye assistant director of pupil personnel services and was assistant principal of Rye High School for five years.
Before she joined the Rye district, she was an assistant principal, teacher and math coach in Los Angeles, California.

Chung holds a master of arts degree in educational administration leadership from California State University and a bachelor of science degree in mathematics with specialization in statistics from the University of California, Irvine.
She is currently completing a doctorate in educational leadership at Manhattanville College.
