RYE, NY — New York residents are asked to vote on their local school district’s budget and board of education May 21. Here are fast facts about the elections for Rye and Blind Brook schools.

Voting information

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Rye Middle School.

Board of Education

Three candidates are vying for two seats. They are Jane Anderson, Jennifer Boyle and Pooja Kotecha.

  • Proposed for 2019-20: $91 million
  • Increase over current spending: 1.92 percent
  • Tax levy increase: 2.82 percent

Voting information

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Bruno M. Ponterio Ridge Street School.

Board of Education

One candidate, Ryan S. Goldstein, is running to fill one vacancy.
