Rye Readies For Memorial Day Parade

A local American Legion chapter is sponsoring the parade.

RYE, NY - Rye's annual Memorial Day parade will be held on Monday, May 29.

The parade is sponsored by a local American Legion chapter, American Legion Post 128.

The parade is scheduled to step off at 9:30 a.m. from the Rye train station and proceed on Purchase Street. Services will then be held on the Village Green at 10:30 a.m., which will include marchers, antique cars, a food truck and music.

Martin Dockery, a Vietnam War veteran who is a Rye resident and post member, will deliver the ceremony's keynote address.
