Rye School Board To Grant Tenure To Six Staffers
Recipients include principal, assistant principals, teachers and library media specialist.

RYE, NY - The Rye school board is slated to grant tenure to six school-district staffers when it meets on Tuesday, June 6.
One principal and two assistant principals are among the administrative recipients. They are Midland School Principal James Boylan, effective July 1; Rye High School Assistant Principal Suzanne Short, effective July 1; Rye Middle School Assistant Principal Joseph DiGiovanni, effective July 1;
Additionally recipients include Rye High School Spanish teacher Maria Gabriele Murphy, effective Sept. 1; Osborn School Library Media Specialist Cara Lipari, effective Sept. 1; and Rye High School science teacher Alexandria Paley, effective Sept. 1.

The school board's meeting will start at 7 p.m. with a closed executive session, with the public session to begin at 8 p.m.
School board meetings are held at Rye Middle School's multipurpose room.
