Rye Updates City Police Policies

The regulations were unanimously approved at a recent council meeting.

RYE, NY — The City of Rye has updated its police policies. The guidelines were approved unanimously at the March 14 city council meeting.

The policies were reviewed by police Commissioner Michael Corcoran, who began in the position in February 2017, lohud.com said.

Update policies include the use of physical force, sexual harassment, firearm procedures and uniform policy.
