RYE, NY — SUEZ and the National Association of Water Companies-New York Chapter are offering five $3,000 scholarships to New York high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in a water industry-related field. The NAWC is a professional organization representing private water service companies throughout the United States.

Through the NAWC's scholarship program, the organization hopes to encourage young people to pursue careers in fields related to the water industry.

“As the water industry becomes more complex, so does the need for enthusiastic, intelligent and highly motivated young people who have the educational background to lead the industry forward,” said Chris Graziano, vice president and general manager of SUEZ operations in New York. “These scholarships help bright seniors obtain higher education that strengthens the future of the country’s water industry.”
