RYE, NY — Monday, May 31 is Memorial Day. In observance of the holiday, most federal, state and local government offices are closed.
There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open but with different hours — so it's not a bad idea to check before heading out.

- Supermarkets: most large stores are open, check with smaller shops
- Liquor stores: most wine and spirits shops in the area are keeping regular hours
