Woodrow Jewelers of Rye to Create Boutique at American Gold Cup

A Rye jewelry store will be at the American Gold Cup this year.

Woodrow Jewelers of Rye, located at 21 Purchase Street, will be partnering with Roberto Coin, the official jewelry sponsors of the event, in creating a boutique at the Old Salem Farm Sept. 11 through 15, according to a Roberto Coin press release.

Roberto Coin, an Italian jewelry company, will have its signature collections at the boutique, as well as its new fall collections.

The American Gold Cup is an equestrian sporting event that is returning for its 43rd year.

Roberto Coin representative Courtney Moore said the company is looking forward to the event.

"We're very excited to be the official jewelry sponsor of the American Gold Cup," Moore said in a released statement. "This is our first time sponsoring the event and we feel that the presence of the Roberto Coin brand will appeal to supporters of the AGC."

Michael Morrissey, president of Stadium Jumping, said the American Gold Cup planners think the boutique will be a hit.

"We expect the boutique to be a popular shopping destination at the event," Morrissey said in a released statement.
