Missing Lake Grove Girl Found Safe

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — A 12-year-old Lake Grove girl who went missing Monday was found safe, police said Tuesday. Julia Pin was reported missing from the Lake Ronkonkoma area around 4 p.m. Monday.

Suffolk County police said she later returned home unharmed.

Her sister, Torie Marie Hernandez, wrote this Facebook post when she was reported missing:

"Her phone has been completely off she left no sign of anything did not inform anyone that she was going to be out!!," the post says. "She has a gold hoop nose ring and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie with a Nike check mark in the corner with black leggings and white Nike shoes."
