Anthony Pistone Gets At-Large Bid to State Tournament
Runner-up at county finals will represent Sachem East in Albany.

Sachem East senior captain Anthony Pistone has been waiting since Saturday evening to find out if he will get a chance to compete in next weekends New York State Championships.
Pistone, who finished as a runner-up in Suffolk County at 145 pounds last weekend, recieved the news he was waiting to hear last night. On the strength of his second place finish in Suffolk and his 35-3 record, Pistone recieved one of the four at large bids that are awarded at each weight class.Â
"This is a great opportunity for Anthony and he is very excited to compete in the State Championships." said Sachem coach Sean O'Hara. "You don't always get these types of chances in life and Anthony will be looking to make the most of it when he gets on the mat in Albany."Â
