The Bristal Resident Attends Granddaughter’s Virtual Graduation

Loretta Mascia, a resident of The Bristal at Lake Grove, wished she could have been there in person to celebrate her granddaughter Amanda Budke’s graduation from Stevenson University in Maryland, almost 300 miles away. However, due to COVID-19 safety regulations, graduates were allowed just two guests who could attend the ceremony in person. So Loretta watched Amanda, a graduate of Centereach High School, receive her degree via livestream from the comfort and safety of The Bristal at Lake Grove, with a photo of Amanda and her family by her side.

After the ceremony, Loretta smiled and said, “You know, this made it feel like I was there, this was so nice!”
