CityMD ANNOUNCES FARMINGVILLE LOCATION GRAND OPENING
First LI opening since STAT Health acquisition; doors open Tuesday, July 31, 2018

CityMD, the leading urgent care provider in the New York Metro Area, will open their newest facility to the public on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2208 North Ocean Ave in Farmingville, NY.
Patients of all ages visit CityMD for many reasons, including treatment for upper respiratory infections, colds and flu (including flu shots), asthma, allergies, minor lacerations, sore throats, insect bites, rashes, and other conditions. On-site doctors can diagnose and treat pink eye, croup, minor head injuries, nosebleeds, and also remove foreign bodies from the nose and ears. Rapid testing for flu, strep throat, mono, UTIs and more are also among the available services.
CityMD will support the emergency medical needs of families in the Farmingville area with convenient weekday and weekend hours, and self-check-in kiosks.

The new Farmingville location has on-site state-of-the-art technology such as X-rays and EKG’s.
Farmingville’s newest urgent care center will provide coordinated care through CityMD’s unique, centralized Aftercare Department. This expert team of doctors and clinical assistants will help patients coordinate their follow-up care, which range from referrals to pre-approvals, and other appointments. After visits, patients can also send bill payments, view their statements, update their information, and even submit questions through CityMD’s secure online portal.

CityMD’s recent strategic acquisition of STAT Health’s 12 urgent care centers will expand its presence to a total of 29 locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties. STAT Health’s Farmingville location (100 Granny Rd.) will be closing on July 30 and patients can now visit the new CityMD location right down the road. All other existing STAT Health locations will be transitioned to CityMD and remain in their current facilities.
CityMD has over 100 across the Metro area.
