Destination: West Point - United States Military Academy

Distance from Sachem community: 2 hours, 90 miles

Key attractions: The campus is a part of American history, just line Annapolis, Md. where the Naval Academy is based. West Point is America's oldest continually used military outpost and was established in 1778. According to Trip Advisor, you can purchase a MetroNorth Getaway Package and Tour of West Point and the surrounding Highland Falls historic area.
