East Alum Walsh Named Lax Captain at Maritime
Is team's No. 1 short-stick and leader on defense.
Sachem East alum Dylan Walsh, a three-year player at Maritime as a defensive midfielder, was named a captain on the lacrosse team there this week.
He regularly plays against the toughest defensive matchup.
Walsh has played in 17 games, grabbing 11 ground balls, causing three turnovers and adding two assists.

Walsh, who graduated from Sachem in 2008, is majoring in Marine Transportation with a USCG Third Mate License and is planning on shipping out after graduation.
