It’s been a dream of hers to play college soccer since she was 4-years old.

“I am beyond excited to start playing,” said Phillips, who will be joined by Sachem teammate Kristin Butzke. “Playing with a Sachem teammate is really just amazing. I've known Kristin Butzke for years and we've played together for years, which is going to definitely help at Salisbury. I'm so excited and I can't wait.”

“We are excited to have Brianna joining the Salisbury University family for the Fall 2011 campaign,” said Salisbury head coach Jim Nestor. “Brianna is a game changer plain and simple. She has the ability to stretch the field at will, or find the interior seems in a defense to put the opposition at the greatest disadvantage.

“More then just being a great soccer player, Brianna is an even classier person and individual. We are excited to see what the next four years will bring for this young lady and our program here at Salisbury."

Salisbury finished 8-12 overall in 2010 and 5-2 in Capital Athletic Conference play.

Sachem East’s Kelsey Ferguson (C.W. Post) and (Binghamton) will both play in college as well.
