Poetry: Verse in Person

Poetry: Verse in Person: Tuesday, June 28, 7:00pm: Each month a guest poet presents a reading, after which the audience is encouraged to share original works at an open mic. This month's guest reader is Barbara Southard. Though she started out as a painter and printmaker, Ms. Southard has been combining word and image for many years. A number of her poems have been published in journals and anthologies, and she is the author of a collection of poems Remember. She currently lives and writes in Miller Place, New York. Special thanks to Jeanette Klimszewski and Mankh, members of the Performance Poets Association, for co-hosting this series.
