Fire Claims Dog, Injures Two in Farmingville
Blaze on Laurel Place is still under investigation.
A Farmingville house fire injured two and killed a family dog on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire, which leveled a single-floor home on Laurel Place in Farmingville, caused two residents to sustain non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center.
A dog was killed in the blaze, according to one source.

Police and the Brookhaven Fire Marshall’s Office could not lend comment about the incident because it is still under investigation.
