Help Sachem Community Member Keep Her Home

Out of work with injury, Farmingville resident may lose her home.

During the holiday season you are inundated with information about people who are in need of shelter or food. It’s not always that you’ll learn about a local community member who may lose her home and needs money to stay.

Out of work due to a work-related injury, Venus Jones of Farmingville may get evicted from her home. A judge granted her a last minute reprieve and she needs roughly $700 to stay for a longer duration of time.

Jones is the same woman who lost her son Charles Jones, a Sachem East student, in a car accident three years ago.
