July 4th Grucci Fireworks Spectacular Returning To Pennysaver Amphitheater

It's the largest free fireworks show with entertainment on the island.

The Pennysaver Amphitheater at Bald Hill will host Long Island's largest Grucci fireworks celebration on the Fourth of July.

It's the largest free fireworks show with entertainment on July 4th on Long Island.

The annual free family event, sponsored by the Town of Brookhaven and JVC Broadcasting, kicks off with a concert at 7:30 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.) It will feature a performance by Billy Mira and the Hitman and Backtrax.

Covering hits by the Brian Setzer Orchestra, Tom Jones, Elvis Presley, Queen, StrayCats, and many other artists, plus Billy’s countless celebrity impressions and unique brand of comedy, the show is a well versed set of charts that will touch every single audience member.

The fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

The annual event attracts over 15,000 Long Island families to the amphitheater and surrounding area. Guests are advised to arrive early and get their place on the great lawn. There will road closures as showtime nears.

Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine and JVC CEO John Caracciolo said they are proud to keep this Long Island tradition alive.

“Thanks to the generous contribution from the folks at JVC we are able to keep this world class show free, and make this night of family entertainment available to all Long Islanders," Romaine said.

Fireworks by Grucci is based in Brookhaven Town and produces over 300 performances annually all around the world.
