Letter to the Editor: Farmingville Fire Commissioner Candidate Robert Wallace

I, Robert W. Wallace of Farmingville, am running for the position of Farmingville Fire Commissioner on December 9th. Voting is taking place at Farmingville Fire headquarters at 780 Horseblock Road, Farmingville, between the hours of 3-9 pm. I am a 30-year member of the Farmingville Fire Department. I am a 30-year employee in the Town of Brookhaven Parks Department and hold the position of Crew leader.

I am asking the residents of the Farmingville Fire District to support me in my bid to become fire commissioner, I am running on HONESTY AND INTEGRITY and EXPERIENCE and look to help make POSITIVE CHANGES. Having held the position in the past for a five-year term, I am aware of the time and efforts needed to do the job, some of my accomplishments previously were helping to keep the budget down, improving ambulance response, providing the best health care equipment available for the residents in need, providing safety equipment for the men and women of the Department and ambulance squad, establishing community classes( CPR, First Aid, Drivers Safety).
