Local Man Needs Your help

My brother Danny and his wife Lisa have lived in Farmingville for the last 33 years. They have raised five kids who all went to Lynwood Ave Elementary, Sagamore Middle School and Sachem East. Perhaps you or one of your children know Danny, Evan, Michael, Ryan or Dana.

Danny is in the fight for his life and I need to ask his community to help him win.

The last 10 months have been a roller coaster ride for our family; Danny has been diagnosed with bladder cancer, has had two major surgeries, 4 major hospitalizations (the most recent one came to an end last week after 22 days), and 7 strokes caused by the chemo.

Danny has worked hard for the last 30 years, from 6 am to 6 pm most days, rarely taking time off or calling in sick, all because he had the responsibilities that come with a wife and 5 children. Now he needs to “call in sick” He works for a small family owned company and doesn’t get paid if he doesn’t work. We want him to concentrate on the fight he has ahead of him, not on getting back to work so that he won’t lose his house. Creating this Go Fund me page is something that my sister and I ,our friends, our family and wider community can do to help him.
