“Despite challenges with COVID, this is very welcome news, and certainly supports that we never give up, and continue to focus all our efforts on serving the needs of our residents,” Carpenter said.

Nashville is known as "Music City" and visitors are drawn by its musical history and vibrant nightlife. Flights between New York and Nashville are less than two and a half hours long. The new destination joins other nonstop flights from MacArthur on Southwest: Baltimore, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
