Man Wanted for Grand Larceny

Stole credit card from Holbrook man, made purchases at stores.

Suffolk County Police is seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a credit card from a Holbrook man and proceeded to make purchases at several stores.

According to police, on Thursday, August 11, 2011, an unidentified white male used a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases totaling in excess of $3,500 at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Pep Boys and other area retail outlets.

The subject purchased numerous televisions, electronics and vehicle components and was observed driving a dark 2003-2008 GMC Savannah van either black or dark brown in color, police said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
