Middle School Teachers Cheer Sachem Students Up With Music Video
The math teachers sang "Sweet Caroline" to students home during the school coronavirus closure.
HOLTSVILLE, NY — Middle school math teachers from Sagamore Middle School in Holtsville created a music video to cheer up their students, home during Long Island's coronavirus school shutdown. The teachers sang "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond, many with their own children from their homes.
Eric Berman is a sixth grade math teacher at Sagamore who introduced the video. "It's been over two weeks since we've seen our students. We decided to create a song and dance for you to make you smile," he said.
