Mother, Daughter Hurt When Minivan Crashes Into Ronkonkoma Home
Police say the mother was pulling out of her driveway when the vehicle traveled across the street into her neighbor's home.

RONKONKOMA, NY — A woman and her 6-year-old daughter were injured when a minivan crashed into their neighbor's home in Ronkonkoma Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
Luisa Ariza was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey out of her driveway on Seusing Boulevard when the vehicle traveled across the street onto the front lawn of her neighbor’s property before striking the house around 4:50 p.m.
Ariza, 29, was transported via police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Her 6-year-old daughter was taken by Lakeland Fire Department ambulance to Stony Brook with minor injuries.

The house was unoccupied during the crash. No criminal charges have been filed.
