Police: Man Uses Knife To Steal From Farmingville Store
Two months after incident suspect turns himself in Saturday, police said.

A Coram man has been arrested Saturday for allegedly stealing merchandise from the Farmingville Stop and Shop location and poking a store employee in the chest with a pocket knife, Suffolk County police said.
According to police, Edwin Aguirre, 30, stole merchandise from the 2350 North Ocean Ave. store on Sept. 7 at approximately 8:45 p.m. Aguirre was confronted by an employee in the parking lot, and police say he poked the employee in the chest with a pocket knife.
Aguirre fled the scene in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Connecticut license plate.
Police told Patch Tuesday that Aguirre turned himself into to the Sixth Precinct on Saturday, and has been issued a field appearance ticket.
