Sachem Alums Hosting Lacrosse Training Sessions in Hauppauge

Sachem East alum Louis Segreto, Class of 2007, and other alumni have recently put together a Lacrosse training program partnered with Next Level Performance, a sports facility located in Hauppauge.
“Our number one goal in this program is to build the skills and confidence needed for not only lacrosse but for all sports,” Segreto said.
Focused on training athletes ages 9-17, the program offers lacrosse players fundamental/skill training for 45 minutes on the pro-turf field. After the 45 minutes of lacrosse training, they athletes will receive 45 minutes of speed training from Next Level Performance athletic trainers. There will be two separate age groups training simultaneously: U 9-12 /U 13-17.

“You can expect a program similar to a high school practice, with more emphasis on fundamental training, making them second nature,” says a flyer issued by the company.

- Demand proper stretching and warm ups
- Individually critique, and coach each player
- Teach fundamentals/Sharpen stick skills
- Enhance knowledge of the game
- Improve player confidence
- Improve speed and strength
- Provide incentives for the player
- Make you an all around better player
The program begins on Wednesday, March 7 and runs from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sundays. It costs $200 for eight sessions.
