Sachem Cyclones 13u are crowned 2015 L.I. Hot Stove National League Spring Champions!

Over the past few months the Sachem Cyclones Travel Baseball team have been participating in the LI Hot stove Spring league. This league has teams hailing from both Nassau and Suffolk county. For the spring season only the top four teams makes the playoffs. The Sachem Cyclones were the#2 seed following regular season play. Last weekend in the Semi-finals the cyclones beat the Eagles gold team to advance to the championship game . The Bethpage Eagles blue team beat the New Hyde Park Blue devils to advance . Setting up a show down for the National League Championship . It was a tough battle through 5 innings where our boys lead 4-2. A Stellar pitching performance by#24 Ian Young along with an offense explosion In the bottom of the 5th inning our boys bats couldn’t be contained any longer scoring 8 unanswered runs . The Final score was 12-2. I am very proud to see our boys hard work pay off and be crowned Champions. GO CYCLONES!
