Sachem's Crickets are Champs with Heart

The U7 Crickets of the Sachem Youth Soccer League were first-place winners in the Valentine’s Day tournament that was hosted by the Terryville Soccer Club in Port Jefferson Station.

The Crickets earned a 4-0 record during the tournament. James Drago and Mason Castelli shared goalie responsibilities and allowed only one goal throughout the tournament, and Mark Rotolo won the tournament’s Best Forward Award. Ian Guardado, Jaydon Amollobieta, Jason Faby, Jayden Galeas, and Michael Rivera played outstanding offense and defense for the Crickets, a team of seven-year-old players led by coach Jeanine Rotolo and assistant coaches Ed Guardado and Mike Rivera.
