Tamarac Elementary Students Gather, Donate Supplies to Local Animal Shelter
Spent two weeks putting together piles of donations.
Students and staff at Tamarac Elementary School spent two weeks gathering donations for the Kent Animal Shelter in Calverton, N.Y.
Tamarac resource teacher Bonnie Beyernheimer said she was very pleased with the support of the school, students and parents who were involved.
The collection includes pillows, food, leashes, toys, blankets and beds.
