Teen Charged In Knifepoint Robbery: Police
A person who arranged to meet up with someone to sell a pair of sneakers was robbed, police say.
CENTEREACH, NY – An 18-year-old man from Lake Ronkonkoma was arrested after a knifepoint robbery in Centereach Tuesday, Suffolk Police said.
According to police, a male arranged to meet up with someone at 2100 Middle Country Road and sell a pair of sneakers. Several males in a BMW pulled up around 6:15 p.m., police said.
A passenger came out, displayed a knife and stole the sneakers, police said.

Following an investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Sayem Kahn, was arrested and charged with first degree robbery. No other arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing, police said.
