Tinari Gets ESPN Mention for Soccer Showcase

Sachem East's Andrew Tinari was listed last week by ESPN as one of the top players at the 2011 US Youth Soccer 1995 ODP Winter Interegional Disney Showcase.

Tinari, a junior captain, was All-Region, All-Long Island and All-Patch in 2011.

"Right back who is an outstanding soccer player and could play anywhere on the field," one coach at the showcase said of Tinari. "Physically capable to take on attackers … Able to set up goals from the right back position."

Tinari will most definitely play college soccer. He was the only player from the Northeast selected to this list of players mentioned.
