Trinity Solar Employee Member of BSA Suffolk County Council, Inc.

Ronkonkoma-based Trinity Solar's Michael Passantino is a new member of BSA Suffolk County Council, Inc. Executive Board of Directors.

Ronkonkoma, NY; March 26, 2019 – Michael Passantino, Vice President of Business Development of Ronkonkoma, NY-based Trinity Solar, was recently named as a member of Boy Scouts of America Suffolk County Council, Inc. Executive Board of Directors, headquartered in Medford, NY. As a board member, Mr. Passantino will focus on raising awareness of the Boy Scouts of America Suffolk County Council, Inc. and will act as a scout mentor. He will also promote scout activities and help to raise funds for the council and programs.

“Trinity Solar is a company that is dedicated to making a difference in the community it serves,” Mr. Passantino, a Manorville, NY resident, explains. “The Boy Scouts of America Suffolk County Council, Inc. shares the same principal and philosophy as Trinity Solar in its commitment to giving back. I will leverage my experience with Trinity Solar to enhance the presence of the Boy Scouts of America Suffolk County Council, Inc. My goal is to heighten the awareness, raise funds and help expand participation in the scouting in Suffolk County.”

Mr. Passantino has previously worked with the Boy Scouts of America Suffolk County Council, Inc. when the Council participated in Trinity Solar’s Stewardship Program. The Program raised funds for scouting initiatives, including the Scoutreach program, while simultaneously assisting Long Island residents with going green and saving money on their energy bills. The Council’s Scoutreach Program has funded uniforms, program materials, leadership, camping and outdoor experiences.

“Michael is a valuable addition to our Board,” says Ryan DiBernardo, CEO/Scout Executive for the Suffolk County Council, Inc. “He is a dedicated Long Island leader who understands the importance of inspiring young people and showing them the many ways that they can make a difference, which is what our organization is all about. Michael is also savvy in fundraising with a strong network that will help enhance our Council’s presence and support membership growth.”

Actively involved with helping different nonprofit organizations, Mr. Passantino and Trinity Solar are primary sponsors of PinkTie.org, a leading business charity networking organization with thousands of members. Mr. Passantino serves on the PinkTie.org Board and has played an integral role in Trinity Solar giving back thousands of dollars each year to PinkTie.org based on the amount of solar energy installs that Trinity Solar does on an annual basis.
