There's plenty of wet weather in the forecast for Long Island this week, including a chance for a few inches of snow that could create hazardous travel conditions during a rush hour commute.

Rain is likely Monday and Tuesday with temperatures climbing well above normal with highs near 60 degrees on both days.

Colder air will begin to move in Tuesday night and rain will mix with and change to snow from west to east across the region.
