Meet the Author: Jennifer Gilmore

Just in time for Mother's Day, award winning author Jennifer Gilmore will discuss her new novel, The Mothers, a powerful and unforgettable story of love and family. After years of trying to conceive a child, Jesse and Ramon are a happy, loving couple who are unprepared for the labyrinthine and occasionally heartbreaking adoption process. Jennifer Gilmore is the author of Golden Country, a 2006 New York Times Notable Book and a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the National Jewish Book Award, and Something Red, a New York Times Notable Book of 2010. Books will be available for purchase and signing.  

Hearing Loss and You

Audiologists from Long Island Hearing will provide information about hearing loss and hearing aids, and conduct free hearing screenings.
