Writing Center Tutors Visit Waverly Avenue

Tutors from Sachem East's Writing Center visited Waverly Avenue Elementary School to work on writing skills with students Thursday morning.

Sachem East has the only high school based Writing Center on Long Island, according to advisor Bonnie Frampton Faust. Seven students visited Melissa Landro's fourth grade class to work on their writing skills and help prepare them for the upcoming ELA examination.

Frampton Faust chaperoned the visit along with Greg Wrightson, the English Department Chair at East.
