Cops: Two Drunk Drivers Taken off Main Street
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

William Fichter, 35, of Hauppauge, was arrested Dec. 8 and faces one misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated - first offense. Police said Fichter was driving a 2011 Jeep east on Smithtown's Main Street near Maple Avenue when he failed to stay in his lane and nearly hit the vehicle in front of him. Officers responding to the scene said Fichter was intoxicated.Â
Robert Quigley, 23, of Nesconset, was arrested on Dec. 6 and charged with one misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated - first offense. Quigley was driving a 1996 Mercury along Southern Boulevard in Nesconset when he went through a red light, according to police reports. An officer pulled him over for a traffic violation and found Quigley was intoxicated.Â
Vincent Russo, 23, of Bohemia, was arrested on Dec. 8 in Smithtown and charged with driving while intoxicated - first offense. Police said Russo was driving a 2013 Subaru at 50 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour speedzone near 32 East Main Street in Smithtown.Â
Suffolk police report a burglary on Brooksite Drive in Smithtown on Dec. 1. Police said a person broke into a 2013 Jeep parked in a driveway to steal a laptop, camera and check book.Â
