Happy Mother’s Day From Aria And Avery Koch

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Aria And Avery Koch's letter to their mom:

Dear Mommy,

There are so many reasons to celebrate you every day, not just on Mother’s Day! From the moment we opened our eyes, we knew how special you were to us. You are the type of mother every woman should look up to. You are the most patient, loving, caring person we know.

We know how hard you work every day to be the glue that holds our family together. Whether it’s staying up all hours of the night, calming us down when we cry, playing peek-a-boo, hide-and-seek and dress-up for hours on end or having dance parties in the kitchen, we know we can always count on you to be there.

We love how you make every event so special and perfect, as if it were professionally done! Our birthday parties and christenings are unmatched! Every vacation and holiday you plan is always perfect! Every day you give of us all of you, and for that we thank you. We don’t always show you how much we love you, and sometimes all your hard work goes unappreciated, but just know that because of you, our lives are better. Our family is better because of you. Everything is better because of you and everything you give for us and our family.

Thank you, Mom, for being so smart, funny, beautiful and talented. It's nice to know that we have the potential to one day be as special as you.

Mom, the words “I love you” are not enough to express how grateful we are to be your daughters, how much you are appreciated or how much you will always mean to us, so we will simply say: Thank you Mom for being our superhero, our expert-in-everything and our very best friend.

We could have never imagined we would have such a great mom. You are everything we could have dreamed for and more. So please keep being you and never change, because you are perfect! We will always love you as much as you love us. Happy Mother’s Day!
