ICYMI: Smithtown East Whisperettes Secure 22nd Consecutive Title

SMITHTOWN, NY — Smithtown High School East's varsity kickline continued its string of dominance. The team was named the small high kick national champions for the 22nd consecutive year, the Smithtown Central School District announced via news release.

The squad attended the Contest of Champions Nationals from Feb. 28 to March 1 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, FL. The Whisperettes also earned first place in the medium high kick category. The team is coached by Sarahbeth Cook, and led by captain Kelsey Finn, and junior captains Jayme Mattera, Lauren Quick and Skylar Park.

The Whisperettes run of titles dates back to 1999.
