ICYMI: Smithtown To Host Medicine Disposal Drive

SMITHTOWN, NY — If you have some medicine you don't use that's past its expiration date, an upcoming Smithtown event could be the cure for what ails you.

"Operation Medicine Cabinet," a medicine disposal drive-thru, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the back parking lot of the Town of Smithtown Horizons Center, located at 161 E. Main St., Smithtown. The drive is the result of a partnership between the Suffolk County Police Department's 4th Precinct, the Town of Smithtown Horizons Counseling and Education Center, and the Smithtown Youth Bureau. Residents will have an additional location to safely disposed of medication.
