Check out this story from earlier in the week on Smithtown Patch.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Town of Smithtown Supervisor Edward Wehrheim provided a State of the Town address via news release on Tuesday afternoon.
His address covers the coronavirus pandemic, parks, beaches, Landing County Club, Flynn Memorial Ballpark, the Lake Avenue Revitalization Project, parking, environmental efforts, the drafting of a Comprehensive Master Plan, and more.
"This past year has been unprecedented on many fronts," Wehrheim said. "Despite all we have endured, the Town of Smithtown continues to flourish as we continue to work together in service to the community. As we embark on a new year ahead, this administration remains optimistic of all that we have done and what is ahead for the Town of Smithtown. Over the next year, we will continue our efforts to combat COVID-19, working together with government agencies and organizations to ensure an efficient vaccine distribution. We will continue our partnership with other levels of government, our school districts, and local small businesses to enhance quality of life, help foster job growth, and provide a cleaner environment for generations to come."
