Melt Shop Opens Smith Haven Mall Location

LAKE GROVE, NY — Grilled cheese lovers, rejoice. Melt Shop announced the grand opening of its new location inside the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove on Monday.

Melt Shop, which calls itself the "pioneer of the Melted Sandwich Movement," held its soft opening on Sept. 7 and is located at 313 Smith Haven Mall.

The store sells grilled cheeses, chicken melts, burger melts, house-made chicken tenders, salads, sides featuring tater tots and dipping sauces that include truffle mayo, melt sauce, and more.

Drink options include soda, lemonade, iced tea, beer, or wine. And if your sweet tooth is acting up, there are five shakes for sale: vanilla, chocolate truffle, strawberry, Nutella or Oreo.

The Smith Haven Mall location marks the brand’s 10th store in Melt Shop’s home state of New York, and 17th nationwide.
