Traffic was jammed early Monday morning after a brush fire at Blydenburgh Park closed lanes on Veteran's Highway.
According to a report on Newsday, at least one lane in each direction was closed and backed traffic up during the morning rush hour.
The fire was reported to police at 5:42 a.m. All lanes were reopened at about 8 a.m.
