New Bakery Opens In Smithtown
A 21-year-old Smithtown native recently opened the new bakery in town, taking over the former Buon Amici. Have you paid a visit yet?

SMITHTOWN, NY - A 21-year-old Smithtown native recently opened a new bakery in town.
Amanda Vigliarolo, a Smithtown High School West graduate, opened the The Whisk Bakery at 975 W. Jericho Turnpike. The site was formerly home to Buon Amici.
Vigliarolo recently graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, and Food Service Entrepreneurship. She has also been working at bakeries since 15-years-old.

Now she has come back home to run the business alongside head baker, 21-year-old Brittany D'Ambrosio, a Farmingdale High School graduate who also received her degree in Baking & Pastry Arts, and Food Service Entrepreneurship from Johnson & Wales University.
The business will be focusing on taking classic bakery products and modernizing them for todays "foodie." according to The Whisk's Facebook page.

"We want to deliver homemade, delicious baked goods for people of all ages," the bio reads. "If we don't have something you want, let us know and we will make it happen."
The business will be open from Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and closed Mondays.
