New York State Safe Boating Course at The Smithtown Library Commack Branch

Peter Cahill, a NYS certified instructor will be teaching this two-session, eight-hour course on boater safety. He will cover the basics of safe boating practice, navigation rules and safe boat handling. Completion of this course meets
the NYS requirements; to qualify for certification you must attend both sessions.

This program series is scheduled for Saturdays, June 6 & 13 from 12:00-4:00pm at The Commack Branch of The Smithtown Library. This is a free program, but registration is required. For more information or to register, please call (631) 360-2480 x232.

Please note: anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
