Update: No Arrests in Armed Robbery at GameStop

Suffolk County police are searching for an armed gunman accused of robbing Game Stop in Lake Grove. 

Police say a 911 call was received at 12:43 p.m. reporting an armed robbery at GameStop in Lake Grove, located at 117 Alexander Avenue in Lake Grove, near Smith Haven Mall. 

A white male entered the GameStop armed with what appeared to be a handgun, according to police. He demanded money from the cashier, who complied. The suspect then fled from the store on foot. 

Suffolk police responded to the scene investigating and searching for a suspect who fled the scene. The police helicopter is circling the area while K-9 units are searching on foot. 

Police did not realize any specific description of the suspect. No arrest has been made as of 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
