Police Looking for Boat Thief or Thieves

Police are looking for the person or persons responsible for stealing a 2004 Sea Ray 18-foot boat in mid-June.

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating the persons responsible for stealing a boat in Kings Park in June.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are looking for the person or persons who stole a boat using a white late model pick up truck. On June 17, a 2004 Sea Ray 18-foot boat and the trailer it was on were stolen from the rear parking lot of 120 Lake Ave between 4 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. The boat was later recovered on Tulip Road in Kings Park, but its motor, steering wheel and dashboard had been removed.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information on the identities or location of these individuals, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
